Client: Kelly Services, Inc.
Industry: Temporary staffing services
Project: 50th Anniversary
Needs
- Generate a sense of pride among employees.
- Communicate the message that Kelly Services has experienced consistent growth, and is poised for a successful future.
Solutions
- Arranged for anniversary logo to appear on all internal and external corporate communications.
- Arranged for a building wrap of the company’s 10-story headquarters. The large graphic featured a large gold bow and noted the 50-year anniversary.
- Generated advance buzz regarding the closing employee event with a clever, staggered save the date campaign.
- Produced an exceptional employee celebration by transforming a parking lot at the company headquarters into a 1940s/1950s era diner. The effect was achieved with gum chewing waitresses, classic cars, juke boxes, and comfort food. Live entertainment was provided by USO-style dancers.
Results
- Carl Camden (currently the company President) raved about the response received among employees.
- USA Today ran a photo of the headquarters with its building wrap on the front page of its business section.
- Numerous community leaders participate in anniversary related events.
